Kate walked through her cabin, tugging up her black jeans, which had become too large. She didn't really spend a lot of time in her cabin, she usually would swim in the Center. She'd sleep in the Parlor, too. Having a house here made her feel uncomfortable. It was pretty though. Everything was blue and white, with the exception of a few things. There was a television and phone, although Kate didn't know what use they'd be to her. She saw a DVD player and that made the TV useful, but she didn't know who she would need to call on a phone. There probably wasn't any reception. There was a marble fireplace with pictures on top. Walking over, she realized that she hadn't remembered taking half of them. It must've been what was supposed to happen if she hadn't died. It was her and Tom in most of them, a few with just her and a few with Dan. Kate immediately turned away, feeling like she was going to cry. She didn't want to think about that.
There was a knock on her door and she wondered who it would be. She didn't know anybody all that well yet, maybe it was Margaret. Walking over, she opened the door.
